TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that requires honesty. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It does factor into how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
